Repair conditions

What if the repair of your device is not possible?

For reasons such as (but not limited to):

Our flaws.

Damage to the device is so extreme that it has been declared non-repairable.

The customer is presented with 2 options. These options are as follows:

The device will be disposed of completely free of charge.

Insured return, fully assembled, test parts disassembled. Total: €15,-

  1. Ownership is fully transferred to Micro Supplies. The device will be disassembled, any usable parts may be used by Micro Supplies. All customer-sensitive data (personal data or other data from which the person can be traced) is completely destroyed.
  2. The device is fully assembled (test parts owned by Micro Supplies are removed from the device). The device will then be packed and returned insured (up to the estimated value that the device has in the eyes of Micro Supplies) after the customer has paid the relevant invoice for named costs.

What if the repair of your device is possible, but you do not agree with the price?

For reasons such as (but not limited to):

The customer is presented with 2 options. These options are as follows:

The customer wants the device back.

A €49.99 research and return fee will be charged.

  1. The device is fully assembled (test parts owned by Micro Supplies are removed from the device). The device will then be packed and returned insured (up to the estimated value that the device has in the eyes of Micro Supplies) after the customer has paid the relevant invoice for named costs.

Unsigned repair form

As soon as we (Micro Supplies) receive a repair with an unsigned repair registration form, the device will be returned or the sender will be contacted to send a signed form through e-mail. Signing the repair registration form indicates that you agree to our terms and conditions.

The return is charged to Micro Supplies. Any future repairs by the same person or company may be refused after the form has been repeatedly unsigned. (“several times”, the number may be determined by Micro Supplies)

Warranty conditions

What is not covered by the warranty?

In the event of damage to the device caused as a result of fall, impact or moisture damage or repair by third parties, the costs of the repair (“costs”, repairer’s hourly fee + the cost of the part which Micro Supplies sells that part on their website for) will be fully passed on to the customer. Once the repair has been completed, this repair and any replacement parts will again be covered by a 12-month warranty.

The warranty also voids in the following cases:

Problems after the 12-month warranty period.

Repair performed by third parties.

Curved devices (as a cause of physical damage)

Theft

Water damage (also within the 12-month warranty period). Devices are not by definition watertight, so we do not give any guarantee on this.

Damage as a result of improper use by the user or his own fault (broken/torn parts, dust damage, and/or moisture damage)

We give a warranty on the repair and the part that is (possibly) replaced, not on the device itself.

Return process under warranty

The risk of sending in a package does not lie with us, but with the carrier. We, therefore, recommend that you send a defective product (up to the purchase price) by insured and registered (with track and trace) mail.

Also, ensure that the package is well protected and solid so that the contents of the package are not conspicuous. After the repair is completed, you will receive the product back completely free of charge.

Warranty replacement parts

A legal warranty of 12 months applies to all parts. A legal guarantee means that a product is or must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it.

Some products also come with a product or manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty does not affect the legal warranty of 12 months.

If the part breaks through your own fault, the right to free repair by the seller will lapse and the warranty on the product and/or part will also lapse.

Warranty on webshop products / items

Microchips & FPC Connectors

The legal warranty of 12 months applies to all parts. Note: We do not give a warranty on microchips and FPC connectors after it has been handled (“handled”, the customer has tried to, or has used this part). A legal guarantee means that a product is or must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it. Some products also have a product warranty or manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty does not affect the legal warranty. If the part breaks through your own fault, you are not entitled to free repair by the seller and the warranty on the part will also void.

As soon as a product arrives at us for a warranty request, we will first assess whether the problem falls within or outside the warranty. Products with (internal) moisture, fall, impact, or pressure damage are not covered by the warranty. We cannot offer any warranty on products without an original serial number. If it is not a warranty case, there may be (examination) costs associated with processing the service request and repairing the product.

Tools

A statutory manufacturer’s warranty of 24 months applies to all tools & equipment. Legal guarantee means that a product is or must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it. If the tool(s) and/or tool(s) break through your own actions, you are not entitled to free repair by the seller and the warranty on the part will also void.

As soon as a product arrives at us for a warranty request, we will first assess whether the problem falls within or outside the warranty. Products with (internal) moisture, fall, impact, or pressure damage are in most cases not covered by the warranty. We cannot offer any warranty on products without an original serial number. If it is not a warranty case, there may be (examination) costs associated with processing the service request and repairing the product.

Warranty and defects

Micro Supplies stands behind its products, but of course also behind its customers. If a product does not meet your expectations or if a defect has occurred, you can always return it. We will then do everything we can to complete the settlement as quickly as possible. When it comes to exchanging a product, in most cases we manage to realize this within a few days.

Claiming warranty and/or repair

In the following cases, you can claim under warranty and/or offer your product for repair.

Defect within the warranty period of the product.

Defect outside the warranty period or due to drop, impact or water damage (Send for repair only)

Product incorrectly delivered by Micro Supplies

Wrongly ordered product or return under the Distance Selling Act

Attempted fraud (returning a non-Micro Supplies product) will immediately close your account and terminate your access to all Micro Supplies services.
